We welcome and honor our SCORE Chapter Chairman, Hal Finkelstein. Hal's unanimous election by his colleagues recognizes the extraordinary skills, accomplishments, and commitment that Hal brings to his new office.

With a professional career in construction, engineering, writing and publishing, followed by many years of Internet entrepreneurship, Hal has been a devoted Counselor to many, many clients, assisting them thru Internet Workshops and face-to-face Counseling and mentoring. His vast knowledge of the web and all its intricacies has benefited all who come to him, and he has brought those same gifts of Internet Technology to our Chapter's operations, beginning with our State-of-the-Art website.

He has 45 years experience in the construction, engineering and technology fields. He held many diverse positions before starting his own businesses. He was an aide to Governor Nelson Rockefeller on construction matters. A lead Engineer for the Apollo missions for ground tracking stations. He has written 15 books on various building construction and technical topics. The books have been used worldwide by over 3000 major corporations to train their field engineering staff.

In addition, he was an adjunct professor at NYU, and a certified Forensic Engineer serving as an Expert Witness on several of the country’s largest and most controversial construction litigations. In addition, he has had radio talk call-in shows on 106.7FM, NYC, WTIC AM, Hartford, WFAS FM, White Plains all involved discussing and answering questions regarding high-rise building construction.

Hal has often spoken of his goals for our Chapter:

  1. To be recognized throughout South Florida as a pre-eminent source for business counseling.
  2. To provide the highest levels of business counseling, mentoring, instruction, and guidance from our glittering roster of active and retired business executives and owners.
  3. To offer to the community meaningful workshops on important aspects of business.

We are truly honored to have such a dedicated individual to lead us, and we are all committed to the realization of these goals. As Hal always says, "We are here to serve. Now let's be the best".
